Verdant Oak Behavioral Health provides psychological testing/assessment for individuals and organizations throughout the San Gabriel Valley and greater Los Angeles Area.  Psychological testing is a means of learning more about various mental health, neuropsychological, learning, and attentional concerns.

Reasons for assessments vary from addressing readiness for surgery to clarifying a mental health diagnosis, to discerning the presence of ADHD or a learning disorder.  Assessments are available for adults, adolescents, and children to support disability accommodations or to facilitate more comprehensive care with your physician.
 
Assessments vary significantly in their breadth but, typically, result in a formal written report, with a diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and answers to any referral questions.  The results of psychological testing can also be used to secure accommodations for school and standardized tests like the SAT, MCAT, GRE, and LSAT.
